This is the way it works, first you pick a cow from the list below. Next you flush or IVF the cow at your expense at the facility of your choice. All embryos collected must be planted fresh. You hold all recipient cows and calves until weaning. Arrowhead Cattle Company gets first choice of one heifer upon weaning. In the case of all bulls, Arrowhead Cattle Company gets first choice of one bull and 50% ownership of a second bull. In the case of only one calf produced Arrowhead Cattle Company believes in fairness and will claim only 50% ownership of the calf. After the procedure is done you then have the option to A.I. the cow and return her to Arrowhead Cattle Company. Arrowhead Cattle Company will own 50% of the calf resulting from the A.I. work. By now your asking yourself what's the catch? The catch is that the bull or bulls that you use for the embryo transfer, Invitro-fertilization, and/or Artificial Insemination must be an over 70"t2t bull. That's it, that is all there is to it. You have access to a fantastic set of cows, you improve your breeding program, you save thousands of dollars by not having to buy the cows, and you get an incredible set of calves that will hold your brand!

Black is one of the industries hottest colors. Add to that DH Red Ranger who is still one of the industries hottest bulls. There are very few black - black and white daughters of 70" t2t bulls so when I found this beautiful heifer we made sure she came home! Her first calf is very cute and packed with more potential out of the 71"+ bull R.E.D. Barthalomew. While the bull is largely unknown, when he was spotted at the 2005 Horn Showcase the decision was made to pick out a couple of our best heifers to breed to him. This was just the kind of quality we wanted to use with him. She has a beautiful udder and looks after her heifer very carefully. One of our favorites, she has become quite the pet!
