When he reached his 1st birthday, Cowboy Tuff Chex began breaking records. He was the first Registered Texas Longhorn to measure over 40" tip to tip at 12 months old. As the son of the Longest officially measured cow BL Rio Catchit, this young bull stood alone in Club 90 (90"+ tip to tip bulls) until he reached 100 1/4" tip to tip (officially measured 10/14/16). Initially his progeny list according to the TLBAA HORNS system (10/15/16) included 216 registered offspring. This included one son M.C. Mr. Big Stuff (Cowboy Tuff Chex x M.C. Awesome Grace) in Club 40 Bulls (40"+ tip to tip @ 12 months old) that measured 44.1875" (4/24/16), and one son Tuff Stuff (Cowboy Tuff Chex x Field of Pearls) in Club 80 Bulls (80"+ tip to tip) which at that time measured 81 1/8 (7/30/16).
